Compresi\u00f3n uniforme y continua de la junta<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los grados de protecci\u00f3n m\u00e1s altos (IP66, NEMA 4\/4X) requieren que la puerta comprima la junta de manera uniforme en todo su per\u00edmetro. Una bisagra que se comba o se flexiona hace que la junta se afloje en el lado del pivote, por lo que la caja podr\u00eda dejar de cumplir su clasificaci\u00f3n aunque la puerta siga cerr\u00e1ndose. Cuanto mayor sea la clasificaci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s r\u00edgida y mejor alineada deber\u00e1 estar la l\u00ednea de la bisagra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"req-2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. No hay nuevas v\u00edas de fuga en el montaje<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cada orificio de tornillo que atraviesa la pared de la carcasa es un punto potencial de fuga. Para cumplir con los requisitos de estanqueidad al polvo y protecci\u00f3n contra chorros de agua, las bisagras atornilladas deben contar con pernos sellados o provistos de juntas, o bien el dise\u00f1o debe utilizar bisagras ocultas o montadas internamente que eviten penetraciones externas. Un \u00edndice IP o NEMA elevado con orificios de montaje sin sellar es una contradicci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"req-3\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n seg\u00fan la norma NEMA 4X<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este es el requisito que la norma IP no tiene en cuenta. Una caja NEMA 4X debe ser resistente a la corrosi\u00f3n, lo que determina directamente el material de las bisagras \u2014normalmente acero inoxidable 316 en caso de exposici\u00f3n a entornos costeros o a sustancias qu\u00edmicas\u2014.
