Compression uniforme et continue du joint<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les indices de protection sup\u00e9rieurs (IP66, NEMA 4\/4X) exigent que la porte comprime le joint de mani\u00e8re uniforme sur tout son pourtour. Une charni\u00e8re qui s'affaisse ou se d\u00e9forme entra\u00eene un rel\u00e2chement du joint du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du pivot, ce qui fait que le bo\u00eetier peut ne plus respecter son indice de protection m\u00eame si la porte se ferme toujours. Plus l'indice de protection est \u00e9lev\u00e9, plus la charni\u00e8re doit \u00eatre rigide et bien align\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"req-2\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Aucune nouvelle voie de fuite au niveau de la fixation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque trou de fixation pratiqu\u00e9 dans la paroi du bo\u00eetier constitue un point de fuite potentiel. Pour garantir l'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 \u00e0 la poussi\u00e8re et la protection contre les jets d'eau, les charni\u00e8res viss\u00e9es doivent \u00eatre \u00e9quip\u00e9es de tiges \u00e9tanches ou munies de joints d'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 ; sinon, la conception doit pr\u00e9voir des charni\u00e8res encastr\u00e9es ou mont\u00e9es \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur afin d'\u00e9viter toute p\u00e9n\u00e9tration externe. Un indice IP ou NEMA \u00e9lev\u00e9 associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des trous de fixation non \u00e9tanches constitue une contradiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"req-3\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. R\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion pour la norme NEMA 4X<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C'est l\u00e0 une exigence que la norme IP ne prend pas en compte. Un bo\u00eetier NEMA 4X doit r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la corrosion, ce qui d\u00e9termine directement le mat\u00e9riau des charni\u00e8res \u2014 g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de l'acier inoxydable 316 en cas d'exposition \u00e0 l'air marin ou \u00e0 des produits chimiques.
